Issues and Insights launches as monthly e-letter

“We’ve been writing provocative pieces for our clients since we began business in 1998,” says Mark Towhey, founder and president of TOWHEY Consulting Group (TCG). “We’ve had so many requests to publish something regularly, with a broader distribution, that we’ve decided to launch Issues and Insights as a monthly e-newsletter.”
Issues and Insights is distributed monthly be email to opt-in subscribers. New readers can subscribe online by visiting www.towhey.com and clicking on the subscription button.
Each issue will include three main sections: Tactics, Strategy and TCG News.
In Tactics, articles will focus on tactical insights for business leaders such as this month’s article discussion the importance of uncertainty in Crisis Management. The fact that a crisis exists only when the outcome is uncertain, means that the role of leaders is critically important. It’s essential that crisis leaders be ready and able to make the best possible decisions at each decision point during a crisis and, even more importantly, be able to inspire others to follow them on the correct patch to a successful outcome.
In Strategy, readers will find a thought-provoking essay looking at the potential longer term impacts of emergent issues facing some or all industries and thoughtful ideas about how business leaders may be able to get ahead of the issue and mitigate its impact. In the January, 2007 edition, Issues and Impacts discusses the emerging impact of predictive medical technologies and DNA research on the life insurance industry. Although the issue is not high on the priority lists of most insurance business leaders, perhaps it should be – after all, it may spell the end of the life insurance industry as we know it!
In the TCG News section, readers will be kept up to date with what’s new and exciting at TOWHEY Consulting Group as the consultancy continues to grow and develop new products, programs and services.
